Gardenscape Revisit - Friends of Ore Station

Back in November, we visited the Friends of Ore Station community garden project.
Since then, thanks to the hard work of Suzanne Horgan and her dedicated team, the garden is really taking shape.
A previously neglected area next to the station platform is being transformed into a green haven for the local community. We delivered our 10mm Shingle, a Topsoil and Peat-Free Compost mix, Horticultural Grit and Screen Surface Woodchip to help with the next stage of development. This includes: more pathways, a seating area, poly tunnel, small pond, pollinator-friendly planting, and space for visitors to relax. The garden will officially open this spring, with local school students joining in to help bring it to life.
We love seeing projects such as this and can’t wait to visit again when it’s in full bloom!
