We know how to fill a bulk bag

Bulk bags can come in all shapes and sizes. A lot of companies use a single size bulk bags for all of their materials, from shingle and sand to soil and compost.

We don’t

All of our lightweight materials such as bark, compost and planting mixes are packed into a larger bulk bag to guarantee that you are getting a full cubic metre in the bag. The image below will illustrate the difference in volume between a regular bulk bag and our larger bulk bag. You get around 0.2m³ more material in our Gardenscape bags. Something worth considering when you are comparing prices.

Staff Training and Product Knowledge

When you call into our sales team you will be talking to someone that has extensive product knowledge and can guide you through your requirements, offering help with volumes, applications rates and product choice. We have resident experts across all fields from grass seed to topsoils, composts, gravels and chemicals.

We also have a sales team member who has recently qualified as a horticulturalist who passed her course ( RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth and Development ) with merit.

Delivery

Both our Gardenscape fleet and sister company John Bourne Fleet are registered FORS Gold and have been for close to 10 years. This is the highest standard of haulage accreditation that can be achieved, meaning our drivers have been through rigorous and continuing training courses to ensure a high quality of service to our customers. Bespoke Blends and Soil Mixes

Although our website is comprehensive in its wide range of compost and soil blends we are more than happy to take advice from our customers and blend up a bespoke soil or substrate to order.

We have highly trained operatives that revel in the creation of weird and wonderful new blends so if it’s an extra sprinkle of grit, or a dash of compost that you wish to add to your planting soil then we would be more than happy to oblige.

We appreciate that every garden is unique, and every environment is different so we are keen to work with you to create the perfect balance that supports whatever planting scheme you are looking to achieve.
