Where should I put my bag for collection?
Please ensure that the bag is left within 3m of the roadside so that our lorries can have access to get to the bags with their cranes. Our drivers cannot lift the bag over parked vehicles or the cab of the lorry.
Does it have to be a Gardenscape Skip Bag?
We will collect any Bulk Bag with straps as long as it is in good enough condition to be lifted when full. Make sure that it is not torn around the straps when you fill it, and that the bottom of the bag is not worn to the extent that it may disintegrate when the bag is lifted when full.
What areas do you collect from?
Standard collection price from postcodes:
BN, BR, CR, CT, DA, GU, IG, KT, ME, RH, RM, SM, TN, TW.
A £35 surcharge applies for collections from:
E, EN, HA, N, NW, SE, SL, SW, UB, W, WD
Where do I put my bag for collection?
Position the bag carefully. Please bear in mind that the crane used to collect the bag cannot reach more than 3 metres from the side of the lorry. NB: full bags cannot be lifted over the front of the lorry cab or over parked cars.
Leave the bag clear of walls, overhead wires, fences etc allowing a straightforward lift by the crane.
Our collection vehicles are the same size as your standard bin/refuse truck
How heavy can my bag be?
Weight limits of each bag size are shown on the prices page. We cannot be held responsible if bags split on loading.
Can my bag be overflowing?
You should only load your waste skip bags to the height of the sides. Overflowing bags are dangerous to lift and transport. Our drivers reserve the right to refuse to collect bags that are overflowing with waste that may fall out on lifting.
Do I have to be present for collection?
No, as long as your Skip Bag is positioned correctly for us to collect you do not have to be present for collection.
What size vehicle will come to collect my Skip Bag?
Our collection vehicles are the same size as your standard bin/refuse truck
What happens to the waste?
We take all waste back to our environmentally permitted waste transfer station. We sort the waste on site and aim to recycle over 90%.
